Weekly News
For this Weeks Weekly news, I thought I would use it to promote an issue and even more close to home to raise awareness and show what a large issue this is.

George Arid is a 27 years old, from New Addington Croydon.
George who planned to spend the following days after Christmas in a London hotel has not been seen or heard from since the 26th December 2017. george has been missing for almost three weeks and concerns are growing from his family. in this article, in particular, George is labelled as a vulnerable man due to his Aspergers syndrome which is causeing great consider as he may not be able to look after himself.
george was last seen leaving a hotel in London at around 8 30 pm George had left all his belongings in his hotel room including his passport and money, George was believed to have his phone on his person which has recently been handed to police after it was found along the river themes.
this is what Georges mum Davina had to say, "The whole situation has been awful for everyone."The last two weeks have been utterly horrible. We just want to know that he is safe and we urge anyone with information to contact us."The worst thing is the not knowing what's happened. There are so many strange circumstances that don't make sense to anybody."
She added: "It would be brilliant just to know he's safe. He doesn't have to contact me; just anyone who could relay us a message so that we know he's OK."
I wanted to dedicate this Weekly news to him as it helps bring to our attention how often devastating things like this do happen and how close to us they can be happening, however, they are often overshadowed in the media and not seen as important when smaller issues do have huge impacts on people just like us lives, however, they do not gain the public awareness they deserve because news such as Donald Trump or the Kardashian is deemed more important or entertaining. it is very comen for people to go missing in this world which I think we do not realise or pay enough attention to which these cases deserve. although this is small news I feel it is important to acknowledge issues that may be going on around us.
the article comes from local newspaper the Croydon advertiser in an appeal to find George or gain information o his whereabouts.
