The Bridge
The bridge.
Season three episode 1.
There are many similarities between this episode and the first ever episode, such as the opening scenes are both crime scenes, and both set at night. the first character we meet will again be Saga who we have come to know I'm previous episodes as a quite cold and odd character. Saga is portrayed as a strong female detective.
At the beginning of this episode, the opening scene is of a crime scene where a dead body was found, things such as dark lighting and cold music contribute to the feeling that something very bad and dark has happened. throughout the episode, the audience is introduced to many different characters who could possibly be the killer as well as several subplots being shown at the same time to make the audience wonder and guess who they feel the killer is.
In this particular episode unlike the first, I feel the character the audience would most closely relate to is saga despite her slightly odd attitude and wired tendencies she is the most closely identified with the audience as we are finding things out at the same time as her.
