camera angles and shots the close up this shot is usually framed from above the shoulders and keeps only the actors face in full frame, capturing even the smallest facial expressions. as it eliminates any surrounding elements. The extreme close up this shot is commonly used in films and focuses on a small part of the actors face or body. this unnaturally close view is used as the manipulation of the simplest movements or details need to be dramatised. The medium shot this shot generally shots the actor from waist up, and is typically used in dialogue scenes. it aims the capture facial exprestions combined with their body language or surrounding environment which may provide context. Extreme Long Shot Used to show the subject from a distance, or the area in which the scene is taking place. This type of shot is particularly useful for establishing a scene (see Establishing Shot later in the article) in terms of time and place, as well as a character’s physical or emotional relationship to the environment and elements within it. The character doesn’t necessarily have to be viewable in this shot.
